Du skal opbygge kapaciteten blandt de lokale kollegaer, give strategisk rådgivning og assistere med den overordnede planlægning og styring samt decentralisering af området til provinserne.

Du har en relevant universitetsuddannelse og solid erfaring med økonomistyring, procurement og international rådgivning. Konkret erfaring fra Mozambique vil være en fordel.

GPV´s EMS business operates in a growth market and pursuits successfully a growth strategy. The annual purchase of electronics items is approximately DKK 400 mill. and the costs of electronics purchased are a significant part of the cost price of products manufactured by GPV.

It is expected that there is a good cost saving potential, which can be released by strengthening the purchasing department with an experienced head of global purchasing with strong commercial competencies and a comprehensive understanding of inbound logistics.

With direct reporting line to Group Procurement Director based in Denmark, you will be part of a team of 24 highly qualified people, located in Europe, Americas and Asia. You will work out of Hempel´s office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia and will interact daily with Regional Supply Chain Manager for Middle East as well as Production Units, Sales Regions, Supply Chain, R&D and Marketing.

Your main activity consists in:

Category management:

• defining sourcing strategy for Global categories together with Global Category Managers.
• negotiate and secure best deal in terms of price, payment terms, and security of supply for Regional categories.

Sourcing:

• maintain and develop regional sourcing strategy
• ensure timely availability of raw materials for six factories across the Middle East
